Lots of news for a Tuesday!

Alright! I have some bad news for you avid readers. As you know, i'm in college. And with college comes Finals. Which mine happen to be next week. This week is a massive review for my Finals. I missed yesterdays post because I was out with a group studying for one of my Finals. This week and next week will be shortened to only 3 posts a week. Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday will be the days that I post blogs. Tuesday will consist of Movie and TV news, Thursday will consist of Gaming and Tech news, and lastly Friday will be a normal day with only Music news.

With all that taken care of, lets get to the news:

Weekend Box Office Results:

  1. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 (Seriously?!)
  2. The Muppets
  3. Happy Feet Two
  4. Arthur Christmas
  5. Hugo
  • There is a Tomb Raider reboot coming out, sadly.
  • X Men: First Class 2 will mainly be about Charles Xavier.
  • Paul Bettany is back in "The Avengers" as J.A.R.V.I.S.
  • A rumor is out that Ellen Page will be Barbra Gordan in "The Dark Knight Rises".
  • "The Bourne Legacy" could be a good spin off for Jeremy Renner.
  • Star Trek 2 to be released in May 2013 and to be in 3D.
  • "Red Dawn" remake finally getting released on November 2nd, 2012. Thats 3 years after filming rapped.
  • "The Dark Knight Rises" will be Christian Bale's last Batman movie, unless Christopher Nolan makes more.
  • Director Guillermo del Toro is in the process of making a Hulk TV show for Marvel.
Now to the TV News:
  • "The Walking Dead" has hit mid season and wont be back until February.
  • "Community" is stuck in a bad place right now. NBC changed its season line up and now its left out. Not cool NBC! I just started watching the show a week ago and I have bought season one and two and waiting to watching them after I get done with my Finals. This show is hilarious and there is no reason why it shouldn't be on the air.

Musicians on YouTube! Part 5

Ever heard of TeraBrite? Toby Turner? Tay Zonday? Well then you have never been on YouTube for the good stuff. These guys create amazing music on their own and do in such a fashion that makes it explode on the Internet. All of their videos are original and amazing. And there is so many more musicians out there on YouTube. For the next 3 Fridays I will be talking about YouTube Musicians and I will also post a link to my favorite video that they made. This week I will be talking about Terabrite.

TeraBrite was created back in May 2009 when D.J. Monopoli and Sabrina Abu-Obeid record a few tracks that were pretty awesome. They mix a heavy rock beat with some female vocals in a way that made the major internet hits. The music video that really drew me to them was one they did as a theme for Shay Carl's Daily Vlogs called SHAYTARDS. It became an instant hit and turned them into the Unofficial Theme song writers of Youtube's most Famous Celebrities. On January 1st 2011 they made a commitment to Vlog everyday for a year. They havent missed a day and neither have I. They Continue to grow every time they release a song/music video.

Links to my Favorites from them:

The Rifleman!

So this blog is up late because I have been searching for news to write about and I couldn't find any. I kept looking and looking then I found one article that really interested me. There was a TV Show called "The Rifleman" back in the late 50's early 60's. "The Rifleman" was about a Civil War hero Lucas McCain with a specially modified Winchester rifle who is a really good marksman. After the war, Lucas moved to a ranch in North Fork, New Mexico, to raise his son Mark. Once there, he puts his unique talents to use when he helps the local sheriff as a Peace keeper in the town. The famed Harry Potter Director, Chris Columbus, is planned to direct. Will be on CBS as ones the original show. Hoping for good things.

Thats all the news I have for today. Don' forget to leave a comment or respond to the question of the day which is:

QOTD: Do you think Western TV Shows will make a big hit for a time we are in?

SKYRIM!!!

Not too much gaming news today thanks to Modern Warfare 3. But there is one game that has WOWed me many times. If you haven't guessed it by now, its Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Have you seen the game footage, IT LOOKS AMAZING. I used to be a hater for these types of game (Haters gonna Hate), but the game looks so amazing I just have to get it. I plan on getting the game as soon as I get my XBox, which should be in the next 2 weeks. I don't mean to geek out, but this game is much higher on my wish list of games then Modern Warfare 3 is. It comes out this Friday and I wish I had an XBox so I would have preordered it.
You heard my opinion on the game, now whats yours? Dont forget to respond to the question of the day, which is:

QOTD: Do you think Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be more popular/ played longer then  Modern Warfare 3?

Musicians on YouTube! Part 2

Ever heard of NicePeter? barelypolitical/The Key of Awesome? DeStorm? Well then you have never been on YouTube for the good stuff. These guys create amazing music on their own and do in such a fashion that makes it explode on the Internet. All of their videos are original and amazing. And there is so many more musicians out there on YouTube. For the next 7 Fridays I will be talking about YouTube Musicians and I will also post a link to my favorite video that they made. This week I will be talking about Nice Peter.

NicePeter aka Peter Shukoff is a very popular YouTube comedian, singer/songwriter, and rapper. As of today  he is the 43rd most subscribed person on Youtube of all time and he is the 11th most subscribed musician on Youtube. Right now he has over One Million Youtube Subscribers and is still growing. The day after he reached 1 million Subscribers he was crowned the King Of Dot Com Comedy by G4's Attack of the Show.

He started a series with his friend Epic Lloyd aka Lloyd Alhquist called Epic Rap Battles of History. Its a series where they pit famous historical and pop culture figures against each other in a rap battle format. The most popular rap battles so far are Darth Vader vs Adolf Hitler and Albert Einstein vs Stephen Hawking. The series is one of the most viewed series in Youtube History. And he doesn't just do rap battles. He does amazing original music. He does picture songs where me makes up songs while is going through a slideshow of pictures. He also does some really good music videos. You guys are getting a special treat this week. I am also posting 2 links to my favorite videos that he did. Also guys, dont forget to post a comment about the question of the day.

Charlie Sheen needs "Anger Management"!

Do you guys remember the Adam Sandler movie with Jack Nicholson, you know Anger Management. Well Charlies Sheen is trying to turn it into a sitcom. He has been pitching a show idea to may different television networks and cable outlets he finally gets it picked up by FX. They are starting out filming 10 episodes and if it passes to FX's standards they will plan for another 90 episodes. I don't know how I feel about it, but I did like the movie.

Another thing is Cinemax is trying to make a Transporter TV show and they are having a few delays. The lead actor, Chris Vance, got injured while filming and was suppose to take about 2-3 weeks to fully heal. But the producers still don't think he is ready since he is still walking with a limp. Filming for the 12 episode season started in June and was suppose to wrap in the beginning of November. Chris Vance won't be reevaluated by the doctors for another 3 weeks. Filming has stopped until he is cleared by the doctors. If all goes well they will continues filming by early 2012 since there is a small amount of filming left to do. And they say there will be very little change to the shows debut.

I'm gonna try something new today to see how it goes. I'm gonna start having a question of the day (QOTD) to promote comments.

QOTD: How do you think the Anger Management Sitcom will turn out with Charlie Sheen?
