Rocksteady has announced that their Batman game will not be a sequel. They have announced that the game will be a prequel to Arkham Asylum and will feature the Justice League. This could introduce spin off games! Man, am I hoping for a good Superman Game. The sad news is that Paul Dini will not be writting the story for the game. He did such an amazing job on the first 2, I would love to see how he would have added the Justice league to the story.
Ubisoft has announced that Assassins Creed 3 will have Season Pass DLC on Xbox 360. I dont know if you have preordered it already, but I did. What ever DLC that does not come with my preorder I will be buying. The game is not complete until you play ever portion of it.

343 Industries has announced that they will be releasing a Halo 4 Limited Edition game. Here is what is included in the box that has been announced:
The War Games Map Packs that includes access to nine maps: three multiplayer map packs= that included 3 maps in each.
Unique in-game Spartan IV armor skin, a weapon skin for the Assault Rifle, an exclusive in-game emblem, an Xbox LIVE Avatar prop, and Avatar Spartan IV armor.
Specializations: Receive early access to six Specializations to achieve higher ranks in your Spartan career. In addition to gaining access to new ranks, Specializations unlock new customization options.
The Special Edition of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn, the 90-minute extended version of the live-action digital series which tells the terrifying beginning of the Human/Covenant war. Also how Master Chief inspired a young cadet to become a leader aboard the UNSC Infinity.
It releases on November 6th, 2012.
The Space core from Portal 2 is in Space. NASA has laser engraved the Space core on to a piece of the a ship they sent up to the International Space Station. Check out the picture below:
Valve's Gabe Newell calls Windows 8 a Catastrophe. Blizzard even agrees with him. Didn't I say before that Windows 8 was going to be bad and be another Vista? I believe I did.

Michael Fassbender has singed with Ubisoft Motion Pictures to co-produce and star in an Upcoming Assassin's Creed game. Ubisoft Motion Pictures has signed with Sony so that UMP has almost an unlimited amount of creative control. That is the only news out now, but it does create a long list of question.
Questions like:
-Who will Michael Fassbender play?
-Which Assassin will be in it?
-Will it be a new Assassin?
-What time period will the main amount of the story take place?
The list goes on and on.
The villain for Star Trek 2 has been announced. Karl Urban has leaked that Benedict Cumberbatch will be playing Gary Mitchell, NOT Khan. If you didn't watch the original Star Trek TV series you would not know who he is. He was in the third episode of the series title Where No Man Has Gone Before. That episode was about the Enterprise crew discovering the log of a long-lost ship. Two crew members transform into beings of immense psychic ability. One of which is Kirk’s longtime friend Gary Mitchell. These new powers corrupt Mitchell, and force Kirk and Spock to strand him on a remote planet. Mitchell causes problem and forces Kirk to kill him to save the universe.

Diablo 3 is the fastest selling PC game in the history of the world. That is kind of a given since gamers have been waiting for it for over 10 years. I am not a fan and I don't think I will ever play it. Sorry, its not my type of game.
Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition will be getting an update soon. In the upcoming 1.7.3 update the main thing that the game will be getting is pistons. 4J Studios is working on it now and they are also working on the 1.8 update or what what people are calling it, Adventure update. They also said that they will try and add as many things from the PC version as possible, but it will not be a direct port of the PC version. Which means that the PC version and the Xbox 360 edition will not end up to be the same game.
There is a sale on tons of games that is lasting until June 1st. Because We May is in support of independent game developers. They have a sale on a lot of games on different platforms like iOS, Steam, and Android. Here is a video that helps explain a little bit of it:

Minecraft has sold over 9.2 Million combined units on PC, Xbox 360, iOS, and Android devices. Though 6 Million of it came from the PC version.
There will be a new Star wars game that will be showcased at E3. There is very little word out about it, so I will keep you updated as the story develops.

The Xbox 720 is set to have in-game Skype powered video chat. This sounds cool, especially when you are playing in a massive party. MMO's will be played with a little bit more face time. You can see you friends reaction after you knife him in Halo.

BBC mistakes the USNC logo from Halo for the logo for the United Nations. Don't believe me? Check out the video below:
John Beiswenger, the author that was suing Ubisoft for similarities between his book Link and the Assassin’s Creed franchise, has decided to drop the Lawsuit. This happened after the back lash from the fans of the Assassin’s Creed franchise tormented him to no end. The game is still on its way to an October release and Ubisoft and to pay nothing.

Valve has announced that they will not be announcing anything new at E3 this year. They state that they will be talking about stuff we have already heard of. They are talking about Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Dota 2. I hope that is just a marketing ploy to keep peoples eye of them while they work on Half-Life 3 and Left 4 Dead 3. I would be happy hearing about either game.
After much speculation of who will Assume the Da Vinci Role in Assassin's Creed 3, it has been confirmed that Benjamin Franklin will not play that role. From an interview, Ubisoft states that Benjamin Franklin just wasn't that type of inventor. I agree, but there needs to be somebody that makes the cool stuff for Conner. Also, I would find it funny if that added a character named Johnny Tremain in the game.
For anyone who wants to see Microsoft's E3 press release, I have good news for you. Microsoft has announced that they will be streaming it live on to your Xbox 360 and on Spike TV on Monday June 4th at 12:30 PST. Even though Microsoft says they will not be announcing the next generation console, it will still be packed with cool stuff.

There still might be hope for a game for The Avengers. Ubisoft just registered an new domain for The Avengers that suggest that they are working on a game for the Box Office Hit. Until Ubisoft confirms it, I would not worry to much about the game.

New Dead Space 3 rumors have been released. Issac Clarke will have have a new companion that will help guide him through the Campaign. There are a few rumors that suggest that there will be drop-in/drop-out Co-Op for the game. There also might be improved mobility in the game.

Conan O’Brien got to visit 343 Industries where they are making Halo 4. He got a behind the scenes look on what they were doing with the game. He also got to voice a character in the game. Check out the video below to know what i'm talking about:
There was a lawsuit filed against Ubisoft recently due to story similarities to John Beiswenger's book Link and the Assassin's Creed franchise. The similarities that are being talked about are historical and religious references, an Animus like device, and a Abstergo like company. Fans quickly responded in the best way they could think of. They went over to Amazon.com and gave bad reviews to the book. You try and stop a company that has a large fan base and this is what you get.

Trials Evolution set a huge record on the Xbox Live Arcade this past week. It was downloaded over 100,000 time in one day. It brought on over $1.5 Million in sales on its first day alone. The game being released is part of Microsoft's Arcade Next promotion, which will be releasing another game next week. If it is as popular as Trials Evolution, its gonna create major revenue for Microsoft.
Popular Youtuber FPS Russia and Activision wanted to show a new toy that will be showing up in the new Call of Duty game. Come check out the Quadrotor:
The new game has been confirmed to be Black Ops 2 by the games website. From what FPS Russia suggests, it may be a game based in the future.

Rocksteady is releasing Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year edition with something pretty cool. They are releasing a DLC titled Harley Quinn’s Revenge. In the DLC players to use Batman or Robin's unique combat and investigative skills to uncover Harley’s vengeful plan and shut the gates on the Arkham City forever. In addition to the news story line, players get to experience new environments and fight a new gang of thugs. Check out the trailer for it below:
The Game of the Year edition of the game releases on May 29th and will included the new DLC free of charge. If you already own a copy of the game, you can also purchase the DLC on that same day.

Rumor: The PS4 will be called Orbis and will be out Holiday season of 2013. Again like the PS3, Orbis will not be backwards compatible.
Assassin's Creed 3 news:
Ubisoft considered having a female assassin in Assassin's Creed 3, but in the end chose a male one.
Ubisoft says that they are developing the PC version to be playable with a controller.
The game will have a completely revamped control Scheme.
Ubisoft hired a Native American consultant so that they could make sure the game was historically accurate.
The game will also feature more Desmond Miles then any other Assassin's Creed game.
Rumor: The new Xbox that will be released late 2013 might be the Xbox Lite. Its will be the same Xbox experience, but wont be a next generation console. It will cost about $100 and is suppose to hold gamers over until Microsoft is ready to release the next generation of the Xbox.

If you didn't happen to use Google Maps on April 1st, you missed something pretty cool. Google took Google Maps and converted it into an 8-bit version. It was a funny flash back and made me laugh. Check out the commercial for it:
Rumor: Apple might be working on a physical controller for for their iOS devices. This might happen due to Apple wants more hardcore gamers for their devices. Since the Apple stills holds the ownership of the of the #1 mobile gaming device. They also might be working on their own gaming console.
There is video out there of Kinect Star Wars where Han Solo dances to a song called Han Solo. I watched and my whole body ached. It like trying to watch the Star Wars prequels with out wanting to hate George Lucas. If you really want to see it, you can find it on the internet some where.
If you havent heard about Mari0 then you havent been on the internet in the last year. Its a crossover of Super Mario Brothers and Portal. If it doesn't sound cool, here is some test gameplay footage of single player mode that you will like.

This is probably old to you guys, but I just saw it. For those of you who havent seen it, here it is:

Ubisoft' says Assassin’s Creed 3 will be the biggest game of the franchise. The main Character will be Desmond Miles and it may take place completely in modern day. Yet there are a few rumors that the game will take place during the American Revolution. It will end the series, but what will Ubisoft do after that? What will their next big series be about?
Modern Warfare 3 sucks more and more each day. The COD Elite maps are only available to the user that downloads them. Which means you can not play Co-op on these maps. I'm so glad I don't own that game.
Angry Birds is heading to Facebook and you know what that means. Yep, it will be over played, made money off of, and your friends will bother you non-stop with their stupid requests to play with them. It is to be released on February 14th aka Valentines Day.
A screenshot of The Amazing Spider-Man Video Game shows little and a lot at the same time. It shows you the environment and Spidey's Attire. It also hints/teases at a Free Roam ability. Which, as you know, hasn't been in a Spider-Man game since the game for Spider-Man 2 was released. Beenox knows what they are doing so lets hope its the best Spider-Man game ever made.
Half-Life fans are getting very angry and it seems Valve won't like them when they are angry. Thats right, the Steam Group for Half-Life is full of Angry Nerds and is growing constantly. Gamers are mad about Valve's lack of communication with their fans on news about Half-Life 3. They are planning an event where over 30,000 gamers will get on and play Half-life 2 to get the attention of Valve. To me, I would rather let Valve take their time to get every thing perfect (since I still have not bought Orange Box for my Xbox 360.) I think this is a publicity for the game so it will be the biggest title to come from Valve.
