  • An interview with the Game Director of Assassin's Creed 3 gives us some more insight of the game:
  • Dean “Rocket” Hall, creator of DayZ, says that they are hoping to have something on the market this year that will be something. It could be a really cheap alpha, but it will be something. If that doesn't happen, something is seriously wrong.

I told you Sherlock was still alive!

The Television news for this week:
    • After 9 season of being one of the most popular show on Television, The Office will be coming to an end. It is a sad thing to hear, but we all knew it was coming. After Steve Carell's exit from the show, we all saw the series start to go down hill. Don't worry about saying goodbye to one character, NBC is still moving forward on the Dwight Schrute spin-off series called The Farm.
    • Season 4 of Arrested Development is getting 3 more episodes. David Cross told Rolling Stone this, because some characters have two-part episodes. He says "Everybody sort of participates, sometimes in a bigger way and sometimes in a tiny little thread that goes through everybody else’s stories."
    • The stories from Series 3  of Sherlock (Season 3 in American Terms) have been announced.
      • Rat = The Adventure of the Sussex Vampire (or possibly Moffat intends to expand on the oft-referenced case of The Giant Rat Of Sumatra):  A story for which the world is not yet prepared
      • Wedding = The Noble Bachelor:  centered around the disappearance of a bride on her wedding night
      • Bow = His Last Bow: often considered as the final Sherlock Holmes story where the famed investigator retires once and for all.

Jim Carrey is at it again!

The Box Office Results from last weekend:
    1. The Expendables 2
    2. The Bourne Legacy
    3. ParaNorman
    4. The Campaign
    5. The Dark Knight Rises
The Movie news for the week:
    • The Avengers deleted Scene, extended clip, and Clip from the documentary:
      • Who is Bruce Banner?:
      • Extended Scene between Hawkeye and Loki:
      • A clip from the documentary, Building a Cinematic Universe, from The Avengers Blu-ray focusing on Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury:
    • Universal is looking to cast Jim Carrey as The Colonel in Kick-Ass 2. If you are not familiar with the comic book, he is the leader of the Heroes in the fight against evil. Donald Faison has already been cast as Doctor Gravity and  John Leguizamo has been cast as Javier, Red Mist’s bodyguard. I can'y wait for this movie to be released!
    • Taken Nemo:
    • Ben Affleck is not directing the Justice League movie. I knew it was a rumor, I just thought it would be fun to see. Ben Affleck is working on Argo right now and that is defiantly one movie that I will see by him. He is a good director, just not for a Superhero Team-up movie.
The Movie trailer for this week:
    • Lawless Red Band Trailer:
    • Passion Trailer:
    • The Hole Trailer:

      Suck It Wolverine!

The Gaming news for this week:
      • DayZ will be making its way to consoles and Mac if it does well as a standalone game. The only way it will sell as a standalone game it needs new features. New features like base-building, tidying and cleaning up animations and ragdoll physics. If this news excites you like it does me, then this is awesome. I have been wanting to play DayZ for a month or two, but I do not have a computer that can run it properly. I am hoping it does very well!
I think they should delay the development so that it can run on the Arma 3 engine.
      • Deadpool game trailer:

        Concept art:

      • Ubisoft has released 11 minutes of Splinter Cell: Blacklist gameplay. Check it out below:
      • PopCap Games has announced something I have been waiting for since 2009. Can you guess what it is? I'll give you a hint. It involves zombies, brains, and PLANTS! Thats right, PopCap Games has announced that they are in development of Plants vs. Zombies 2.
Here is a press release from the Zombies: “Spring is crullest curlie ungood time, and plantz grow dull roots. So, we are meating you for brainz at yore house. No worry to skedule schedlue plan… we’re freee anytime. We’ll find you.”
The game releases in Spring of 2013 and yes, I will keep you updated on this story as it develops.

Troy and Abed in the Morning!

The Television news for this week:
      • Tony Shalhoub will be making his return to TV soon. He has signed on for a yet to be titled series from Rob Greenberg, the executive producer of How I Met Your Mother. He is set to play a man named Frank who is a self-proclaimed ladies man that has had four divorces. Tony Shalhoub is just one of those actors to me that I will always watch if the thing he is on is good.
      • BBC America is producing a Three Musketeers TV series. The series will be written by Adrian Hodges, who recently did  My Week with Marilyn. The series will follow Athos, Porthos, and Aramis and will follow them as they are assigned to protect the King and their country. The series will be appropriately titled  The Musketeers and will be a 10 episode series.
      • NBC picks up a new comedy series with Michael J. Fox. It is a yet to be titled series inspired by his real life. The series follows Fox as a husband and father of three living in New York City and dealing with his family, career, and challenges, that include having Parkinson’s disease. The show has a full series order of 22 episodes with director Will Gluck, Easy A, and Sam Laybourne, Arrested Development and Cougar Town, are on board as executive producers and co-creators.
      • Malcolm McDowell will be on Community next season as a History Professor. He will have a two episode arc on Community and will play Professor Cornwallis, a history teacher. I'm pretty sure Abed will be making reference to his appearance in A Clockwork Orange. Season 4 of Community premieres Friday, October 19th @8:30pm on NBC.
