I told you Sherlock was still alive!

The Television news for this week:
  • After 9 season of being one of the most popular show on Television, The Office will be coming to an end. It is a sad thing to hear, but we all knew it was coming. After Steve Carell's exit from the show, we all saw the series start to go down hill. Don't worry about saying goodbye to one character, NBC is still moving forward on the Dwight Schrute spin-off series called The Farm.
  • Season 4 of Arrested Development is getting 3 more episodes. David Cross told Rolling Stone this, because some characters have two-part episodes. He says "Everybody sort of participates, sometimes in a bigger way and sometimes in a tiny little thread that goes through everybody else’s stories."
  • The stories from Series 3  of Sherlock (Season 3 in American Terms) have been announced.
    • Rat = The Adventure of the Sussex Vampire (or possibly Moffat intends to expand on the oft-referenced case of The Giant Rat Of Sumatra):  A story for which the world is not yet prepared
    • Wedding = The Noble Bachelor:  centered around the disappearance of a bride on her wedding night
    • Bow = His Last Bow: often considered as the final Sherlock Holmes story where the famed investigator retires once and for all.

QOTD: Did you expect The Office to end to soon?

Andy Samberg says Good Night to SNL!

The Television news for the week:

  • Marvel decides to cancel their Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes show so that they can make their Avengers Assemble show. From what they say, the new show will follow in line with the movie. I dont plan on watching the show since it will be shown on the Disney Channel network. I do hope that it turns out to be a good show for the Avengers series.
  • After Andy Samberg left SNL, people wondered where he would go next. Besides the movies he is doing (Hotel Transylvania, The To Do List, Grown Ups 2) BBC has signed them for a new show called Cuckoo. Here is a short synopsis of the show:
“When Ken (Greg Davies) and Lorna (Helen Baxendale) collect their daughter (Tamla Kari) from the airport, they’re horrified to learn that she’s returned from her gap year with more than just a henna tattoo and braids in her hair. At the arrival gate, she promptly introduces them to her new husband, Cuckoo (Andy Samberg) – the squared-jawed, self-appointed spiritual ninja who is now their son-in-law.”
Looks like this will be another show I watch on BBC.
  • Here is a first look at Charity Wakefield in Mockingbird Lane, the Munster Reboot, as Marilyn Munster:

BBC, you made a funny!

The gaming news for the week:
  • Diablo 3 is the fastest selling PC game in the history of the world. That is kind of a given since gamers have been waiting for it for over 10 years. I am not a fan and I don't think I will ever play it. Sorry, its not my type of game.
  • Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition will be getting an update soon. In the upcoming 1.7.3 update the main thing that the game will be getting is pistons. 4J Studios is working on it now and they are also working on the 1.8 update or what what people are calling it, Adventure update. They also said that they will try and add as many things from the PC version as possible, but it will not be a direct port of the PC version. Which means that the PC version and the Xbox 360 edition will not end up to be the same game.
  • There is a sale on tons of games that is lasting until June 1st. Because We May is in support of independent game developers. They have a sale on a lot of games on different platforms like iOS, Steam, and Android. Here is a video that helps explain a little bit of it:

If you are interested, head to there website:  Because We May
  • Minecraft has sold over 9.2 Million combined units on PC, Xbox 360, iOS, and Android devices. Though 6 Million of it came from the PC version.
  • There will be a new Star wars game that will be showcased at E3. There is very little word out about it, so I will keep you updated as the story develops.
  • If you happen to want to preorder Halo 4, here are some of the bonuses you can get:

Halo 4 Web Armor Skin Amazon Pre-order
Halo 4 Forest Armor Skin GameStop Pre-Order

  •  The Xbox 720 is set to have in-game Skype powered video chat. This sounds cool, especially when you are playing in a massive party. MMO's will be played with a little bit more face time. You can see you friends reaction after you knife him in Halo.
  • There have been a ton of leaked screenshots form Halo, including: Load outs, new weapons, and multiplayer maps. Head to this website and check them out: Leaked Halo 4 Screenshots
  • BBC mistakes the USNC logo from Halo for the logo for the United Nations. Don't believe me? Check out the video below:
  • John Beiswenger, the author that was suing Ubisoft for similarities between his book Link and the Assassin’s Creed franchise, has decided to drop the Lawsuit. This happened after the back lash from the fans of the Assassin’s Creed franchise tormented him to no end. The game is still on its way to an October release and Ubisoft and to pay nothing.
Newly released Trailers:
  • The Amazing Spider-Man for PS3 Move:
  • Harry Potter for Kinect:

  • Dead Space 3 Teaser:

  • Tomb Raider Teaser:

Community will never be the same!

The Television news for the week:
  • ABC is still planning on doing a Hulk TV series. The series would be coming from the amazing writer, director, producer Guillermo del Toro. To continue the story that The Avengers movie started, they would need to bring on Mark Ruffalo as the show runner. The special effects would have to be great and  be done under a budget. And lastly it would need a large viewership to keep it running. I don't see the show happening, but it would be really nice to see it happen.
  • CBS has released sneak peeks for Elementary and Vegas. If you remember me talking about Elementary being a modern Sherlock Holmes in America with Lucy Liu playing Watson.
    • Sneak Peek for Elementary:

I still think Sherlock from BBC is better.
    • Sneak Peek for Vegas:
  • Here is the first footage from CW's new series Arrow:
    • Here is the trailer for the series:

  • Dan Harmon has been fired as Community Show runner. He went to his Tumblr account to issue a statement. This really shocked me after Season 3 finale just aired last Thursday. The show will still have a 4th season, but without Dan Harmon. Since he is out, do you think that David Guarascio and Moses Port can continue the show? If so, can it be done so that the fans will continue to love it. Could they bring up the ratings so that the show will do better then ever? I hope so!

From 'The Office' to 'The Farm'

The Television show news for the week:
  • Paul Lieberstein's character Toby Flenderson might be leaving The Office soon. Paul announced that he might be leaving and The Office and heading to The Farm, the  potential Dwight-centered spin off. Paul is currently head of the writing staff and a co-producer of The Office and plays the role of Toby, the soft-spoken HR rep. In an upcoming episode of The Office, the spin off will be tested out to see how fans will take it. If it is as good as it sounds, fans might like it and it will become a show. The Farm then make a mid season 2013 debut. They have to do something soon if they are going to save The Office.  James Spader and Mindy Kaling will not be back next season. Ed Helms, John Krasinski and Jenna Fischer are still waiting to find out if they will have a job next season.
  • Netflix acquires the streaming rights to BBC's soccer drama titled United. The drama stars David Tennant as Coach Jimmy Murphy, who is in who is charge of rebuilding the broken team.  United is a 90 minute telefilm that tells the tragic story of British European Airways Flight 609. That flight crashed in Munich on February 6, 1958 following takeoff. The crash killed eight of Manchester United’s football stars. It also left two players so badly injured they never played again. Sounds like a good move for Netflix since it does have David Tennant, but I would have to see it before I could judge it to much.
  • Felicia Day will be making a guest appearance on the popular TV show Supernatural as a Computer Hacker.  She will play a low-level computer tech at one of Dick Roman’s companies whose amateur computer hacking gets her in trouble with the Winchester brothers. Dick Roman plays this season’s primary antagonist, if you didn't know this already. The episode is humorously titled The Girl With the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo and will come out April 27th.

It’s ‘Elementary’, my dear Watson!

Today's late bit of TV news:
Yes, he is pretty Crazy!
  • Alcatraz, how was it? I missed the series premier and I want to know what you people that about it before I spend money to purchase an Episode.
  • CBS wants to create a series about a modern day Sherlock Holmes. This is pretty much that same thing PBS and BBC did in 2010. The series has a pilot in development and the title of the series is Elementary.
  • The CW is working on a Green Arrow TV series. It is suppose to have no connection to the Smallville TV series (even though it should) and supposed to be from the writers of the Green Lantern movie. I don't think this is a smart idea. Why not continue with the great base they had with the character in Smallville.
  • The Walking Dead has released some good stuff in this past week. They released the poster to the right, which is the last action you see in the last half of the second season. AMC has renewed the series for another 16 episode season, which is Awesome! They also released a clip from the upcoming episode called  NebraskaCheck it out here! The series doesn't come back until the 12th of February. Which I am going to miss since I will be out of town at a concert on that night.

P.S. Sorry about being late, I was finishing up watching the first season of Being Human, the US version, so I can start watching the second season. The first episode aired last night so now I need to catch up on that.
