What a crazy random happenstance!

The Television news for the week:
  • A TV show for the movie Braveheart is in the works. It is planned to be a prequel to the blockbuster which stared crazy old Mel Gibson. The TV series will be about William Wallace before he was king focusing on his back story and the years he spent fighting to unify Scotland. So far there is no word if Mel Gibson is a part of it or what network it will be on.
  • There has been some amazing news coming from The Walking Dead this week. The famed characterMichonne, from the comic books has made a revel in Sunday nights Season 2 finale. Danai Gurira is set to play her in Season 3. Michonne is defined as a meth-addict, sword swinging lawyer who brings her zombified boyfriend and best friend with her. Its has also been confirmed that  Merle, played by Michael Rooker, will be back in Season 3. No word yet if he will be in a hallucination or if he will be in the prison waiting for the group. We already know that David Morrissey is playing the Governor in Season 3. They will start filming for Season 3 in May and Season 3 will premiere this fall on AMC.
  • Simon Pegg might be joining TNT's L.A. Noir as a regular guest star. There is no word yet on what his role will be since he is still in talks with TNT and Frank Darabont. Seems like a cool role for him since he will also be working on Star Trek 2 and MI:5. This will be his return to TV since he did Spaced back in 2001. Speaking of that, Spaced is on Netflix Instant streaming. If you like British comedy, then you will like Spaced.
  • Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog 2 is going to start filming this summer. Joss Whedon has confirmed that they are planning to film the long awaited sequel to Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog Joss Whedon has said that he has a number of songs written and has the outline ready. There is no word yet on who will be back to reprise their roles.
  • The first image of Stephen Amell in his Green Arrow costume for The CW's Green Arrow Pilot called Arrow has been released. Check it out below:

Clark Kent is Superman?! NO WAY!!!

The Television new for this week:
  • CW's Green Arrow series will be called Arrow. Writers and producers are calling the series edgy, provocative, and sophisticated. Its also planned to be not as much of a TV comic book like Smallville was. They are saying Oliver Queen is suppose to be like Jason Bourne/Rambo with arrows. If it is any good as they say it will be it may be worth a watch.
  • House is coming to an end soon. Season 8 will be its last season. Fans are being promised and Amazing Finally! I personally have not been following the show for sometime now. The show started to get repetitive and dragged on for too long. Though it is still sad to see it go of the air.
  • Remember how Smallville ended without you seeing Clack Kent wearing the Superman Suit. Well, the producers took that into consideration and are going to be releasing Smallville Season 11 as a comic book. It will pick up  six months after the TV series ended and will Follow Clark/Superman through his first year as Superman. The side character that will be in the comic are Oliver Queen/Green Arrow, Chloe Queen, Lois Lane, and Lex Luthor.  DC Entertainment are trying to have the first chapter ready to release online April 12 and a print to be released  May 16. A new Chapter will be released digitally each week and will release one month later as a psychical comic book. Here is a taste of what the comic will look like:

  • Community is coming back this spring and has a surprise ending to the season. According to Joel McHale a Male Character in the show will die at the end of the season, but it will not be one of the main Cast members. Now the only question is, who is going to die? Could it be Star-Burns? Could it be Leonard? Or could it be Magnitude aka the Pop Pop guy? And could this be the Series Finally? I guess we will just have to wait and find out.

Paranormal Activity + Lost + The Amazon= The River!

The Television news for this week:
  • Stephen Amell will play Olvier Queen, The Green Arrow, in CW's new Green Arrow TV show. Fans were hoping that it would be a direct spin-off from Smallville, where Olvier Queen was played by Justin Hartley. Stephen Amell has recently starred in shows like The Vampire Diaries, 90210, and recently cancelled Hung. DC and CW has green lighted the series and it will start production soon.
  • The River is premiering tonight and I cant wait to watch it. One of my favorite Actors, Joe Anderson, stars in this  show about a crew of explores on a quest to find a missing TV explorer in the Amazon. The show comes from the minds of  Oren Peli and Michael R. Perry, which are the minds behinde the Paranormal Activity trilogy. Check out the Full trailer here:
  • The next show I am planning to start watching is Alcatraz, The show from the mind of J.J. Abrams. I am a huge fan of his work and I havent found time to sit down and watch it yet. Either I am going to have to catch the reruns or buy it on iTunes.
  • Oh and dont forget, The Walking Dead comes back this Sunday at 9PM on AMC. I may be out of town at a concert that night so I dot think I will be able to watch it until the next day.

It’s ‘Elementary’, my dear Watson!

Today's late bit of TV news:
Yes, he is pretty Crazy!
  • Alcatraz, how was it? I missed the series premier and I want to know what you people that about it before I spend money to purchase an Episode.
  • CBS wants to create a series about a modern day Sherlock Holmes. This is pretty much that same thing PBS and BBC did in 2010. The series has a pilot in development and the title of the series is Elementary.
  • The CW is working on a Green Arrow TV series. It is suppose to have no connection to the Smallville TV series (even though it should) and supposed to be from the writers of the Green Lantern movie. I don't think this is a smart idea. Why not continue with the great base they had with the character in Smallville.
  • The Walking Dead has released some good stuff in this past week. They released the poster to the right, which is the last action you see in the last half of the second season. AMC has renewed the series for another 16 episode season, which is Awesome! They also released a clip from the upcoming episode called  NebraskaCheck it out here! The series doesn't come back until the 12th of February. Which I am going to miss since I will be out of town at a concert on that night.
