Lose the beard Ashton!

The Technology news for the week:
  • Here is Ashton Kutcher dressed up like Steve Jobs for the upcoming Biopic:
I think he really needs to lose the beard or get a hair cut. That doesn't look like Steve Jobs at any age.
  • A group of people created concept images based on all of the iPhone 5 reports and rumors. These are by far the coolest concept images I have seen so far. Check them out below:
    33
    14
    26
  • Google Chrome is reportedly coming out for iOS with in the next few weeks. Since Firefox is starting to take a nose dive and Google Chrome is now the Top browser. I'm happy it making it way to iOS. I liked Safari until Dolphin came along and now it would be nice to have my Google Chrome bookmarks available on a mobile device. If it passes Apple's inspection, which it should, it should be here soon. I will keep you updated on this story when new information is available.

And now for the Youtube Channel of the Week, which is: Rooster Teeth

Rooster Teeth are pretty famous content creators of the Halo world. They created the online show called Red vs. Blue. I posted one of their creations in a recent blog where they announced the Halo 4 release date.  They also post achievement guides and funny things to do in games. I hope you like them as much as I do! Here is the most recent video by them:

QOTD: What do you think of Rooster Teeth?

8-bit Google Maps for NES?!

The Video Game news for the week:
  • Rumor: The PS4 will be called Orbis and will be out Holiday season of 2013. Again like the PS3, Orbis will not be backwards compatible.

  • Assassin's Creed 3 news:
    • Ubisoft considered having a female assassin in Assassin's Creed 3, but in the end chose a male one.
    • Ubisoft says that they are developing the PC version to be playable with a controller.
    • The game will have a completely revamped control Scheme.
    • Ubisoft hired a Native American consultant so that they could make sure the game was historically accurate.
    • The game will also feature more Desmond Miles then any other Assassin's Creed game.
  • Rumor: The new Xbox that will be released late 2013 might be the Xbox Lite. Its will be the same Xbox experience, but wont be a next generation console. It will cost about $100 and is suppose to hold gamers over until Microsoft is ready to release the next generation of the Xbox.

  • 343 Industries teases a multiplayer map for Halo 4 with some concept art. Check it out below:

  • If you didn't happen to use Google Maps on April 1st, you missed something pretty cool. Google took Google Maps and converted it into an 8-bit version. It was a funny flash back and made me laugh. Check out the commercial for it:

  • Rumor: Apple might be working on a physical controller for for their iOS devices. This might happen due to Apple wants more hardcore gamers for their devices. Since the Apple stills holds the ownership of the of the #1 mobile gaming device. They also might be working on their own gaming console.
  • There is video out there of Kinect Star Wars where Han Solo dances to a song called Han Solo. I watched and my whole body ached. It like trying to watch the Star Wars prequels with out wanting to hate George Lucas. If you really want to see it, you can find it on the internet some where.

  • If you havent heard about Mari0 then you havent been on the internet in the last year. Its a crossover of Super Mario Brothers and Portal. If it doesn't sound cool, here is some test gameplay footage of single player mode that you will like.

Head over to this link to download the free game: Mari0

Thanks for reading today's post, as always leave a comment down below about anything or the question of the day, which is:

    QOTD: Have you played Mari0?

My dislikes of the iPad 3!

The Technology news for the week:
  • The Samsung Galaxy S III is being released this April and will have some amazing features.
If I wanted a phone not made by Apple, this is the one I would get. These features included:
    • 4.8 inch, Full HD 1080p screen
    • A powerful 1.5 GHz quad core processor
    • 2 megapixel front facing camera and a 8 megapixel rear facing camera
    • 4G LTE
  • The iOS App Store has just passed 25 Billion downloads, which makes it the biggest place to buy apps worldwide. Talk about, Duh Winning!
  • Apple TV 3rd Generation has been announced. With it comes a new User Interface and support of full 1080p. Will be released on March 16th.
  • The iPad 3 was announced yesterday, here is everything you need to know about it:
    • There are different models of the iPad 3. There is WiFi and WiFi+3G+4G.
    • Prices start at $499 for 16GB with only WiFi and goes up to $829 for 64 GB with WiFi+3G+4G.
    • Still thin at 9.4mm thick and weights a total of 1.5 pounds.
    • Regular battery life is set at 10 hours and 4G battery life is set at 9 hours.
    • The screen is 9.7 inches in size, has a resolution of  2048×1536, and has 264 pixels per inch.
    • Has an A5X, which is a Dual-Core CPU and a Quad-Core GPU. The processor offers 4 times the amount of the graphical performance that the iPad 2 offers. It also has 1GB of RAM, which is 2 times the amount that the iPad 2 had.
    • The rear facing camera is a 5 Megapixel camera that shoots 1080p video. the front facing camera is the same one that was in the iPad 2.
    • The iPad 3 will only have Siri dictation, instead of the full assistant that the iPhone 4S has.
    • You can preorder the iPad 3 now here or you can wait until March 16th and get it at the Apple Store nearest you.
  • My dislikes about the iPad 3:
    • I wish the price would be a little cheaper, but the price doesn't bother me to much.
    • I wish they would have upgraded the front facing camera instead of the rear facing camera. Since more people use the front one instead of using the rear one, why not upgrade that one. How many people have you seen taking pictures with there read facing camera on their iPad? I have only seen one!
    • I wish all of Siri was on the iPad 3. Not just the dictation. It makes no sense to release Siri on the iPhone 4S and not release it on the iPad 3.
Thanks for reading today's post, as always leave a comment down below about anything or the question of the day, which is:

QOTD: Are you going to get the iPad 3?

Apple Event planned for March 7th!

The Tech news for the day:
  • Across the iOS and the Android platform, Android app are more expensive. The Top 100 paid apps from post platforms were annualized and on average, android apps are more expensive then their iOS twins. Take that information in any way you want.
  • Adobe Photoshop Touch is now available for iPad 2. Looks great, but is only for iPad 2 on the iOS end.
  • 2 new products will be announced at the Apple event on March 7th. Apple has confirmed that they will launch the iPad 3 and the newly revamped Apple TV. The media event starts at 6 PM Central time.
  • Apple is planning to revamp the MacBook Pro to be thinner and look more like the MacBook Air.
  • Rumor: Apple is planning to start production on a smaller iPad (7.85 as an estimate) by the third quarter of this year.
  • The iPad 3 will come in Black and White and will still include a Home button. This makes me a little sad, I was hoping they would do away with the faulty Home button by now. With their large amount of resources and technology I thought they would have make it as part of the screen by now. I have had my iPod for a little over a year now and my Home button is barley working and I take really good care of it.
  • If you guys want me to I will post my reaction to the Apple Event in some form during/after I watch the event. If you guys would like that post in the comments down below if you would rather read my reaction during the event on Twitter or after the event on here.
Thanks for reading today's post, as always leave a comment down below about anything or the question of the day, which is:

QOTD: Would you buy the iPad 3?

As I promised, I posted the new Trailer for The Avengers. Also with it is my review of the trailer and how hyped I am for the movie.

Food, Hot Girls, and Technology

Today's bit of Technology News:
  • The iPhone 4S and iPad 2 now are able to be jailbroken. After 2 longs months of waiting for a jailbroken iPhone 4S it is now here. The wonderful tool is called Absinthe and is available for Mac, Windows, and Linux. Here is a link to a video tutorial: iPhone 4S/ iPad 2 iOS 5.0.1 JAILBREAK - GreenPois0n Absinthe
  • The White House Google+ profile and is planning a hangout on the 30th of January. Over 37 thousand people have the page in there circles. Maybe this is why there are very few people on Google+ right now? I created a new circle just for them and don't you dare ask what I named it!
  • Evi for iOS is a good Siri substitute if you do not have an iPhone 4S. It is very helpful for finding places in your area and it only costs 99 cents. The only bad thing is that it is not fully integrated into your iOS device like Siri is.
  • Siri spoof and Hot Girls in a Doritos commercial. Check it out here: Doritos® - Hot Wild Girls -- Crash the Super Bowl 2012 Finalist
  • Bill Gates Reflects On The Passing Of Steve Jobs In 'Nightline' Interview (VIDEO)
