The Movie news for the week:

• Nicolas Cage is attached to The Expendables 3. Harrison Ford and Clint Eastwood are in talks for the sequel to last weekends box office hit.
• The History of LEGO:
  
• Robert Downey Jr. gets hurt while filming Iron Man 3 in Wilmington, NC. He sustained a minor ankle injury while filming a stunt for the movie. The production has been halted while he recovers. I knew after I saw the one set photo of the wire stunt that they were doing that someone was going to get hurt while filming. I just hate that it was RDJ.
• John Goodman is in talks to play the role as the villain to The Wolf pack in The Hangover: Part 3. If you havent been following the news coming from The Hangover: Part 3, you might have missed some good plot points. The Wolfpack might be heading to Tijuana and might be trying to break Alan, Zach Galifianakis's characeter, out of a mental institution. Heather Graham , Mike Tyson, and Ken Jeong are all set to return for the film.
• James Gunn is in talks with Marvel Studios to direct Guardians of the Galaxy. I say, why not. He is an amazing director with some notable movies under his belt. He has done both Scooby Doo movies, Super, the remake of Dawn of the Dead, and also did a cult hit video game, Lollypop Chainsaw. I hope this happens so I can throw my money at it!

The New Avengers Trailer is out now!

Oh boy, has this day turned out nicely! I am going to try something here. I will post my reaction to the trailer second by second, the you can leave your reaction in the comments!
00:13- Looks like James Van Der Beek and Leonard Hofstadter are running slow motion on the left.
00:31- Steve Rogers is starting to seem a little whiny to me.
00:38 to 00:45- I have heard about this seen and I cant wait to see it in full.
00:57 to 01:05- RDJ is still the only person that can do Iron Man the right way, in my opinion.
01:33- "I just want a hug!"
01:42- I wish we could see more of Hawkeye in action like this in the trailers.
01:54 to 01:56- "I got you buddy!"
02:00- "You mad bro?!"
02:20 to 02:23- "Hey look, its a Transformer!"

Was the Jetsons TV show Racist?

As always on the Monday blog, the Weekend Box Office Results:

Now onto the news for the day:

• Now this is only a rumor and maybe a good one at that, but Bradley Cooper might be Lex Luthor in Superman: Man of Steel.
• New Line Cinema wants to make a Horrible Bosses Sequel? Right now the original cast is back for it. Which means it might be the same story over again. The only this could turn out good is if the they change characters (which already has not happened) or change the story so that they help other people get rid of their Horrible Bosses. I could see this being good, but not with the same story line.
• Bridesmaids 2 might happen without  Kristen Wiig. Which if this happens the movie will focus on  Melissa McCarthy’s character Megan. Either way I think it would be a funny movie.
• Les Misérables could be an amazing movie remake.  Hugh Jackman will play  Jean Valjean, Anne Hathaway will play  Fantine,   Russell Crowe will play Javert. I saw the play back in High School and this could end up being a good remake.  Les Misérables was originaly made into a movie back in 1998 with  Liam Neeson, Geoffrey Rush, and Uma Thurman.
• Matthew Vaughn in talks with unknown person to write and direct Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall.
• Tim Burton wants to direct a live-action  Pinocchio (Yet another remake) and have Robert Downey Jr. as Gepetto.
• Kanye West is the  artistic supervisor for the Live Action Jetsons movie. Finally, almost 20 years after the Flintstones movie was made there is a Jetsons movie being made. Now my only question is, will  the movie be as racist as the show? Notice there was only white people in the show.
