The Hunger Games Soundtrack was better then the movie!

On Fridays I will be going to my iTunes and turning on shuffle and who ever is the artist of the song that plays will be the focus for this blog. This Friday is going to be a little different though.

This weeks post is going to be about: The Hunger Games Soundtrack
I recently bought the soundtrack for The Hunger Games movie. I thought it was a really good soundtrack. Then I went and saw the movie. Let me just say, I really didn't like the movie. It was boring, couldn't keep my attention, and almost put me to sleep. There were only a few parts I liked. Woody Harrelson played by far the greatest character in the movie. He was kind of like the comic relief.

Some of my favorite artists had songs on the album. Artists like The Civil Wars, Taylor Swift, and Maroon 5 were the reasons I bought the album. The album actually followed the tone of the movie. Soft, slow, and very soothing.

The Civil Wars was a group that I got into thanks to iTunes. iTunes was offering a free song of the week and it was Barton Hollow by The Civil Wars. I liked it so I ended up buying the whole album. They were actually one of the groups that might have gone on tour with Needtobreathe.

Taylor Swift is know by everybody today. She has an amazing voice and is really talented. One thing that made her cooler in my book is she actually had Needtobreathe open up for her on her most recent US tour.

Maroon 5 has been popular on my iTunes for a while. I actually have an album by them from back when they were called Kara's Flowers. So yea, i'm a fan.

My Favorite song from the album:
