I don't really watch too
much TV, but this past week I watched 3 shows. I watched the season
2 premier of The Walking Dead, I saw the third episode of Tim Allen's
new comedy on ABC called Last Man Standing, and I also watch The 2011
Scream Awards on SpikeTV.
As me being a big fan of The Walking
Dead comics (I own comics 1-80) I loved the first season. The new season
started out slow, but in a good way. It prepared you for what was coming ahead
in the episode and also what’s coming ahead in the season.
I don't want to give any Spoilers, except that not too many
zombies were killed in the first episode. It left you at
a cliff hanger and I can’t wait until the new episode
this Sunday night.
If you liked Home Improvement, you
will probably love Last Man Standing. Being Tim Allen's first TV Role
since Home Improvement I was hoping for something that made me laugh. He
plays a father in a house full of women that works for an Outdoors company that
is like Bass Pro Shop. He was a traveling father working on his company catalog
and they cancelled his catalog and moved him to online product description
videos (which are very funny.) So now he is home more to give fatherly advice
to people on the internet and take care of his grandson. The show got very high
ratings and I really enjoyed it and laughed a lot. The next episode comes out this Tuesday at
8 PM and I will definitely be watching it.
And finally the 2011 Scream Awards.
This was the first time I watched it and I definitely liked it.
I didn't get a chance to vote online and only one won that
I didn't want to win. They honored Robert Downey Jr. and Nicolas Cage
and put inducted them into the Scream Hall Of Fame. It was a really good
rewards show, though this was the first rewards show I have ever seen. Next
year I will definitely vote and watch the rewards show next year.
