E3 has made me very busy!

The Video Games news of the week is changing a bit for this week. Since E3 is happening now and ends tomorrow, there will be very little writing and more clips/trailers/teaser of the upcoming Video games. With that said, lets get started:
  • Counter-Strike: Global Offensive releases on August 21st, 2012 (2 days after my Birthday) for Mac/PC PS3 and Xbox 360 gamers. It will cost $14.99 for which ever version you decide to get. That is actually five dollars less than what Counter-Strike: Source is right now Steam.
  • Among the Sleep Trailer:

It looks kind of like a Nightmare through the Eyes of a 2 year old.
  • Hitman: Absolution Trailer:
  • The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Dawnguard Trailer:

  • Cool Dishonored Gameplay Trailer:

  • Tomb Raider Trailer:

  • Halo 4 Gameplay footage:

  • Battlefield Premium Trailer:

It cost $49.99 and if you are someone like me that hasn't bought any of the expansions, this will be a great buy.
  • Dead Space 3 Trailer:
  • Medal of Honor: Warfighter Gameplay Footage:
  • Star Wars 1313 Gameplay Footage:
  • Watch Dogs Gameplay Demo:
  • ZombiU Trailer for ONLY the Wii U:
  • Halo 4 Multiplayer Footage:

QOTD: What is the game you are most excited for from E3?

No Xbox 720 this year!

The Video Game news of the week:
  • Skyrim Kill Cams:

This came with the 1.5 update through Steam. Soon it will arrive on all platforms.

  • Microsoft has confirmed that they will not be launching a new Xbox at E3 2012. My guess is that they are still working out more bugs and are really trying to get everything right. I know they don't want a repeat of the Xbox 360 failure.

  • There has been a mod released for Battlefield 3 and it takes you back to the past. It changes the audio of the game to mane it sound like a old NES game. I think this pretty cool, it makes dying in the game fun. Check it out below:

  • The trailer for TellTale's game The Walking Dead has been released. It was released with IGN's Up At Noon web show. Check it out below:

The actual trailer doesn't start until around 8:50, but the whole episode is pretty good.
  • Just in case you didn't look cool enough wearing your large head set while playing you Xbox, Microsoft has filed a patent for gaming glasses and a gaming helmet. They will be used as image displays so that you can multitask while gaming. They might also be used for virtual reality. Check them out below:

Facebook: Where games go to die!

The Gaming new for this week:
  • Rumor: Xbox 720 will support Blu-Ray, but not used games.
  • Netflix will never offer video games rentals...until they change again. Looks like GameFly is still number one!
EA Syndicate remake:
  • This is probably old to you guys, but I just saw it. For those of you who havent seen it, here it is:
The Avengers - Leaked Gameplay Footage

  • Ubisoft' says Assassin’s Creed 3 will be the biggest game of the franchise. The main Character will be  Desmond Miles and it may take place completely in modern day. Yet there are a few rumors that the game will take place during the American Revolution. It will end the series, but what will Ubisoft do after that? What will their next big series be about?
  • Modern Warfare 3 sucks more and more each day. The COD Elite maps are only available to the user that downloads them. Which means you can not play Co-op on these maps. I'm so glad I don't own that game.
  • Angry Birds is heading to Facebook and you know what that means. Yep, it will be over played, made money off of, and your friends will bother you non-stop with their stupid requests to play with them. It is to be released on February 14th aka Valentines Day.
  • A screenshot of The Amazing Spider-Man Video Game shows little and a lot at the same time. It shows you the environment and Spidey's Attire. It also hints/teases at a Free Roam ability. Which, as you know, hasn't been in a Spider-Man game since the game for Spider-Man 2 was released. Beenox knows what they are doing so lets hope its the best Spider-Man game ever made.
  • Half-Life fans are getting very angry and it seems Valve won't like them when they are angry. Thats right, the Steam Group for Half-Life is full of Angry Nerds and is growing constantly. Gamers are mad about Valve's lack of communication with their fans on news about Half-Life 3. They are planning an event where over 30,000 gamers will get on and play Half-life 2 to get the attention of Valve. To me, I would rather let Valve take their time to get every thing perfect (since I still have not bought Orange Box for my Xbox 360.) I think this is a publicity for the game so it will be the biggest title to come from Valve.

  • Rumor: Halo 4 may be reveled by the end of this month.

Look, Up in the Sky!

The gaming news for today:
  • To the people that say PC gaming is dying or dead, you can go chock yourself with a wireless controller! PC gaming is still alive and kicking. This past week Steam, the PC digital distribution platform of games, just passed a huge mark. They had over 5 Million people logged into Steam and playing a game. I bet you can guess what game it was. Yep, Skyrim!
  • Well Factor 5 was working on a Man of Steel version of Batman: Arkham Asylum/Arkham City, but it was cancelled before anything could happen. They have released what some of the characters would look like. To me it would have been a decent game if it was any way like a superman version of Batman: Arkham City. I'll post a picture of what Superman would have look like at the bottom of the page.
  • If you are not watching CES, you should be. Sony announced a new portable platform called The  PlayStation Vita and man does it seem cool for a portable platform. Thats all i'm going to say now, but Friday will be my CES overview. I will be talking about everything I love seeing.
  • Activision has plans to release another Call of Duty game this year. From the domains they have registered many believe it to be Black Ops 2. Then again, they do own the domains for Black Ops 2 through 6. I don't think a dying series like Call of Duty can last that long. Just saying!

QOTD: Do you think they should make a Superman game like the most recent Batman games? Would it be as good?

P.S. Video game review will be up as soon as I finish watching Moneyball.

Siri Can Rap!

Today's Tech news:
  • Google Chrome is the fastest Desktop browser and Mobile Safari on iPad 2 is the fastest of the mobile market.
  • Facebook is finally going to allow mobile users to video chat using the Facebook Messenger app. Hopefully Google+ will follow.
  • The jailbreak for the Blackberry Playbook just got a funny name. Its called Dingleberry and boy will Larry The Cable Guy be mad when he hears about this!
  • Facebook Timeline is pretty cool.
  • Google is working on a Siri competitor called Majel.
  • Youtube is now on Xbox and has a lot of glitches for me.
  • Siri raps and is good at it!
  • Steam app for Android is out, i'm still waiting for one for iOS.
  • And the reason why this is up so late is because I tried to Jailbreak my iPod as part of the blog today. As you can tell that didn't go over so well. The iPod cord that I have is going shot and I every time I tried I tried to jailbreak it, it would brick. Which happened 5 times at least. So i'm going to keep trying and i'll let you guys know if and when it works.
