Leaked images of the iPhone 5!

The Technology news for the week:
  • Here is some HD video shot using Google's Project Glass:
There is no audio because they have not added a microphone to the device yet.
  • Facebook is talking with former Apple engineers that have work on the iPhone. A few of them have said that Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook’s chief executive, was asking them about the inner workings of the iPhone. Could this mean that they are trying to make a Facebook smartphone?
Some people say that this it what it could look like:

Maybe they will try the "Poke to unlock" route.
  • Apple has been talking about replacing the Google Maps app on their iOS devices. They have been working secretly on the Maps app that will show up in iOS 6. They have released this photo of what it will look like:
     Apple-Maps-iOS-Six-4
There is also speculation that they will have an option for 3D maps to be displayed.
  • Some images of the iPhone 5's parts have been leaked. The picture show that the device is longer and is to be of the 4" screen size. Check out the picture below:
    9to5macblackandwhite
I'm glad it still comes in Black!
  • Apple's Tim Cook confirms that the S in the iPhone 4S's name stands for Siri. I still think it should have been 4Steve!

My dislikes of the iPad 3!

The Technology news for the week:
  • The Samsung Galaxy S III is being released this April and will have some amazing features.
If I wanted a phone not made by Apple, this is the one I would get. These features included:
    • 4.8 inch, Full HD 1080p screen
    • A powerful 1.5 GHz quad core processor
    • 2 megapixel front facing camera and a 8 megapixel rear facing camera
    • 4G LTE
  • The iOS App Store has just passed 25 Billion downloads, which makes it the biggest place to buy apps worldwide. Talk about, Duh Winning!
  • Apple TV 3rd Generation has been announced. With it comes a new User Interface and support of full 1080p. Will be released on March 16th.
  • The iPad 3 was announced yesterday, here is everything you need to know about it:
    • There are different models of the iPad 3. There is WiFi and WiFi+3G+4G.
    • Prices start at $499 for 16GB with only WiFi and goes up to $829 for 64 GB with WiFi+3G+4G.
    • Still thin at 9.4mm thick and weights a total of 1.5 pounds.
    • Regular battery life is set at 10 hours and 4G battery life is set at 9 hours.
    • The screen is 9.7 inches in size, has a resolution of  2048×1536, and has 264 pixels per inch.
    • Has an A5X, which is a Dual-Core CPU and a Quad-Core GPU. The processor offers 4 times the amount of the graphical performance that the iPad 2 offers. It also has 1GB of RAM, which is 2 times the amount that the iPad 2 had.
    • The rear facing camera is a 5 Megapixel camera that shoots 1080p video. the front facing camera is the same one that was in the iPad 2.
    • The iPad 3 will only have Siri dictation, instead of the full assistant that the iPhone 4S has.
    • You can preorder the iPad 3 now here or you can wait until March 16th and get it at the Apple Store nearest you.
  • My dislikes about the iPad 3:
    • I wish the price would be a little cheaper, but the price doesn't bother me to much.
    • I wish they would have upgraded the front facing camera instead of the rear facing camera. Since more people use the front one instead of using the rear one, why not upgrade that one. How many people have you seen taking pictures with there read facing camera on their iPad? I have only seen one!
    • I wish all of Siri was on the iPad 3. Not just the dictation. It makes no sense to release Siri on the iPhone 4S and not release it on the iPad 3.

QOTD: Are you going to get the iPad 3?

Siri is a Psycho!

The Technology new for this week:
  • You guys know that I am a huge Apple/iPhone fan, but there is one phone that I love more then the iPhone. I love the Samsung Galaxy S fan. It is just an amazing phone to me. When I heard that they might be launching the Samsung Galaxy S III this May, I went Crazy! If my contract wasn't up until October I would be getting it the day it releases.
  • Rumor: Macs will get touchscreens...in the future.
  • The next iPhone and the Samsung Galaxy S III will be released with a recent upgrade. The Liquipel Waterproofing Technology is the amazing waterproofing that protects your iPhone from minor water damage. I would still not take it into a pool, just to be safe.

  • There are rumors out that an 42" Apple TV will be released soon. Best Buy released a survey which said that it would "reinvent what a TV can do". I have been waiting for this since Goggle released their TV. The survey said it would have a  42" 1080p LED flat panel display, running iOS, supports iCloud, use your mobile Apple device as a remote, and have a built in iSight camera. It will cost you about $1499. If the Apple TV is real, then it may be the next TV I buy.
  • Rumor: iOS 5.1 to release on March 9th.
  • Rumor: iPad 3 to be released in the first week of March.

The iPhone 5 is coming this June...maybe

The Technology news for this week:
  • I have been getting into some new shows lately, How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory, I have watched some funny episode of both. Here is a clip for The Big Bang Theory that I thought you guys would like.

  • Facebook Timeline to me is a pretty cool idea. The way you can look back at the stuff you don't remember and the horrible stuff you do remember. Well there is now a way to turn that timeline into a movie. With Timeline Movie Maker you can customize the music, say you want it to be cinematic or romantic, and turn the timeline into a very well put together movie. Here is mine: My Timeline Movie
I just wish that I could download this and post it to Youtube.
  • Rumor:  Apple to launch the iPhone 5 At WWDC This June
  • If you own an iPad or iPad 2 and love Arcade games then is there something awesome out there for you. The ION iCade is something I sold a lot of at Toys R Us around the Holiday season. You can dock your iPad and play classic arcade games using a joystick and the buttons. Check it out below:

Food, Hot Girls, and Technology

Today's bit of Technology News:
  • The iPhone 4S and iPad 2 now are able to be jailbroken. After 2 longs months of waiting for a jailbroken iPhone 4S it is now here. The wonderful tool is called Absinthe and is available for Mac, Windows, and Linux. Here is a link to a video tutorial: iPhone 4S/ iPad 2 iOS 5.0.1 JAILBREAK - GreenPois0n Absinthe
  • The White House Google+ profile and is planning a hangout on the 30th of January. Over 37 thousand people have the page in there circles. Maybe this is why there are very few people on Google+ right now? I created a new circle just for them and don't you dare ask what I named it!
  • Evi for iOS is a good Siri substitute if you do not have an iPhone 4S. It is very helpful for finding places in your area and it only costs 99 cents. The only bad thing is that it is not fully integrated into your iOS device like Siri is.
  • Siri spoof and Hot Girls in a Doritos commercial. Check it out here: Doritos® - Hot Wild Girls -- Crash the Super Bowl 2012 Finalist
  • Bill Gates Reflects On The Passing Of Steve Jobs In 'Nightline' Interview (VIDEO)
